Beyond their use for entertainment and communication, social networks and their user generated contents are an increasingly important source of information for most citizens. These contents (text, photos and videos) are produced at an increasing speed, by countless sources whose quality and reliability vary widely. To derive value from them, communication and information professionals require new search and verification skills.
